Medicine Learning Place

The Learning Place is a unique occasion where the practicalities of limb and life-saving procedural skills pertinent to patient care in pre-hospital and retrieval environments are exhibited.
The skills demonstrated are scenario based - from surgical airway management at the roadside, performing resuscitative hysterotomy in a remote clinic to gaining neonatal central access prior to departure.
Led by an expert Interdisciplinary Pre-hospital and Retrieval Medicine Faculty – the learning environment utilizes team resource management to deliver the content. It is the only place where Australasia’s PHRM workforce come together on one day and in one space showcasing unity and professional clinical standards of care.
Attendance complies with ACEM, ACCRM, CICM and ANZCA CPD.
So embrace the opportunity to network and further develop your clinical skillset at this year’s Learning Place in Hobart.
Participants will be divided in to small groups. Groups will rotate through each of the skills stations throughout the day. Assessment will take place at each skill station.
