Wenross Holdings

Wenross Holdings Pty Ltd manufacture the now familiar Mansell Infant Retrieval System, which is based around the NEOCOT.

Neocots are now used internationally and they form the definitive intensive-care infant retrieval system in Australia, performing nearly 300 retrievals-per-month nationally, of critically-ill infants in road ambulances, helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft including Life Flight and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Another medical device available now from Wenross is a back-transfer system called COSYPOD. This device is designed to provide a medium-care environment in which infants originally retrieved in the Neocot may be returned to their home hospitals and families as soon as the infant is well enough to travel. Cosypod has two infant capsules on the one MANSELL POWER LIFTER and each of which can accommodate twins. Neocot and Cosypod both provide heated capsules for the infant, together with vital signs monitoring, syringe pumps, electric suction with on-board battery power and oxygen. The company now also manufactures the NEODECK which has been designed to secure other medical devices to the new Stryker Pro stretcher being used internationally.

Here at Wenross, it gives us great pleasure to proudly announce that the legendary Neocot can now have an in-built phototherapy option.

This now makes the Neocot the only Infant Retrieval System in the world with this particular type of integrated option.

The option has been designed to operate from the Neocot’s own batteries so it is available continuously through all phases of a retrieval including during ‘walk time’. One great advantage worth noting is, that if a retrieval/transfer is delayed for some reason, the phototherapy treatment can continue uninterrupted.
