Abstract:
Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) are establishing a new exciting and innovative Aeromedical Nurse Practitioner service in addition to the current crew mix availability for Queensland.
Aligning with the conference theme, RFDS QLD has reflected on a previous single practitioner trial > and to future proof our organisation have sourced funding to implement a 7 days a week service.
We would like to present some preliminary data including case mix, scope of practice consideration and lessons learnt during the implementation phase. We will have approx 5 months of cases to present our findings to date.
