Anil Joshi

Anil Joshi is an Emergency Medicine and Prehospital and Retrieval Medicine Consultant who completed his specialist training in London. He has extensive clinical experience across the region, including a year spent working with Sydney HEMS, and remains deeply involved in critical care retrieval and trauma education. Passionate about medical education, Dr. Joshi serves as a training supervisor for Prehospital and Retrieval Medicine (PHRM) trainees. His primary professional interests lie in optimizing the dynamics of high-performing teams, practicing effective teamwork under high-pressure conditions, and building sustainable, high-quality training systems centred around interprofessional learning and psychological safety. Outside of his clinical commitments, he is an avid ultramarathon runner, an aspiring polyglot, and enjoys exploring the wilderness of Aotearoa New Zealand alongside his family.
