An Innovative Approach to Safety Training in Remote and Hostile Environments for Aero-medical Personnel was presented in 2010 at the aero-medical conference in Christchurch.
This presentation will look at the past 10 years of that training and education, whilst considering the benefits, risks, injury rates, improvements and particularly ensuring a method of robust evaluation to enhance training in an austere environment.
Additionally, equipment and procedural changes will be discussed that aims to assist other organisations in their pursuit of enhanced training.
